Time Gates

For practical reasons it is not possible to keep the complete security organisation in place longer than is strictly necessary.
Therefore time gates are introduced.

As the rules stipulate, athletes will be stopped at a time gate in case they don’t reach that gate by a specific time. They will then be transported back to the finish line.
The time gates are large enough to enable properly prepared teams to finish the race.

Time gates coincide with all Energy Stations (except for the first Energy Station, which is no time gate).
There is also a time gate at the finish line. At 18:30 LT, time registration will be stopped and teams who have not arrived by then will get a ‘DNF’ (Did Not Finish) mention in the result list.
